Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

The school trip to yamanashi ken was very fun in lots of ways.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

Good - All Japanese teaching, learning Kanji, sakubun sections, hatsuon sections. Not so good - can’t think of many; outside study time can be a lot( hw + grammar, kanji review)

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

I found the kanji textbook and its back questions to be very helpful in remembering the kanji. Textbook example sentences offered a concise demonstration of a grammar point.

Any suggestions for improving class activities or materials?

No, but I wish I knew I should spend more study time on the kanji textbook back questions. I think those should have been mandatory work.

Any comments or tips for prospective/new KCP students?

Do the kanji questions at the back of the kanji textbook.

Testimonials

Not only did I have a great time at KCP, but the improvement I’ve witnessed in my Japanese proficiency is astounding. I still can’t quite believe I’ve learned so much in such a short time. Although I’m sad that I’m leaving by the end of this term, I’ll always have fond memories of my time here. I am truly grateful to all the staff, especially the instructors, as well as my fellow classmates for making my time here exceptional. I highly and without hesitation recommend KCP International Japanese Language School to anyone looking to learn Japanese.
