I felt that class in general was very productive and that everything I learned I could apply outside of class.

Terry from Spring 2015

Which co-curriculum classes did you find most satisfying?

I liked the class about anime because it gave us a chance to discuss how the business worksin relation to Japanese society and culture.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

I felt that class in general was very productive and that everything I learned I could apply outside of class. I found the conversation practice to be particularly interesting since I got to speak with other students from different countries and hear different perspective on topics.

What did you find most valuable in the Culture Course?

The knowledge I gained from these classes allowed me to better understand the things that I see around Japan which I thought was very valuable.

Were you pleased with the general living arrangements? Anything you especially liked? Any problems you experienced?

Even though the room was small I enjoyed having single space to myself. Occasionally the internet would be slow or not work at all which could be a problem when trying to study but other than that everything was satisfactory.

Testimonials

I selected the KCP language program because I wanted to immerse myself in Japanese culture. I wanted to improve my Japanese, and there are glowing reviews of the teachers at KCP. The final verdict was decided when I looked up how much the program costs, and I realized that the short-term summer program is significantly more affordable than many other programs.
