Nitori bedroom showroom

Japan Travelogue Series: Nitori

Nitori Co., Ltd is a Japanese furniture and home accessories retail company. Founded in 1967, it is considered to be the largest furniture and home furnishing chain in the country. Nitori currently has over 400 stores in Japan and more than 50 stores in Taiwan, China and the U.S. under the Aki-Home brand name.

Nitori’s headquarters are located in Sapporo. Furniture ranges from large items such as sofas, kitchen cabinets, dining tables, and beds and to home accessories like carpets, curtains, beddings, dishes, and anything and everything to spruce up your home. Nitori can be likened to IKEA which features showrooms of different sections of the home like the living room, bedroom, and kitchen. Decor ideas incorporate styles based on the season of the year.

Niclas takes us around the Nitori store and shows us what it’s got to offer. Let’s go!
